Conversations With Computers
What to Expect
Carl Stone(US/JP), Myodium(KZ), Wasawat Somno // conversations with computers
Calling all club members! Let's meet up at our final gathering of experimental computer musicians. Artists performing include:
• Professor Carl Stone from Japan is a pioneer of computer music with decades of cross-regional experience in performing and lecturing.
• Myodium, or Medina Bazargali, a Kazakhstani artist who uses coding to tell stories influenced by improvisational storytelling from her home culture, has already released work in Central Asia and Europe.
• Wasawat Somno (giang_ws), a programmer who experiments with various coding tools, with performances in clubs and art exhibitions, is one of the driving forces behind many digital technology art exhibitions across Bangkok.
The evening will conclude with a discussion on artistic methods from these three musicians, each with diverse backgrounds, cultures, and eras. This is another event we are proud to present, celebrating the ideals of Noise House Lat Phrao over the past almost 3 years as a safe haven for experimental musicians.
