Popcorn x Poetry 🍿 a loose-leaf playground gathering, hosted by retro recess

in honor of national poetry month, we’re launching something soft, simple, and intentional… and then continuing it every last wednesday of the month.
popcorn x poetry is our monthly poetry night, a living-room-style space to listen, feel, share… and settle in with something warm in your hands.
this gathering is an invitation to experience the feeling and energy we create every week inside our loose-leaf playground writing x poetry club… a space rooted in presence, expression, and being held in community.
this is not a stage. this is a room.

whether you write poetry, short stories, or just have a few words sitting in your notes app, you’re welcome here. you can sign up to share, or just come to listen.

no pressure. no performance. just presence.
we’ll begin with a gentle prompt to arrive, and close with one to ground before leaving.
paper and pens will be provided, so you don’t have to come prepared, just come.
