La Belle Verte is a strange, funny and very soft sci-fi comedy from 1996 - the kind of film that looks simple, almost naive, and then quietly starts poking all the most ridiculous parts of human life.

Banks. Cars. Status. Overwork. Small talk. Patriarchy. Consumerism. The sacred human tradition of making everything more complicated than it needs to be.
