Groovy Doopy feat. Rachael

Groovy Doopy returns to Smalls on June 19, this time joined by vocalist Rachael McMillan. Over the past year the group has moved through a series of guest collaborations and changing vocal lineups, while keeping the same core sound built around Sunny, March, Palm and friends.

Rachael has already crossed paths with Groovy Doopy through live appearances and recorded collaborations, including projects released under the Groovy Doopy name. More recently, she has become one of the voices appearing most regularly around the group’s orbit. Together they bring another new combination to a project that rarely stays fixed for long.

Rachael is a Bangkok-based vocalist who has increasingly become a familiar collaborator around Groovy Doopy performances and recordings. Her work with the group ranges from live appearances to studio releases, adding a warm vocal presence to the band's shifting lineup of collaborators.

🎹 Sunny Rattana – Keys
Sunny Rattana is a Yamaha Artist, pianist, composer, and educator. A first-class honors graduate from Chulalongkorn University, he has performed internationally and is also the founder of Creative Music Studio.

🎻 March Titiwat – Bass
Titiwat "March" Treepob studied jazz double bass at Silpakorn University before earning a master's degree from Rangsit University. Alongside jazz, his work moves through soul, gospel, funk, and Latin music, with performances at festivals across Thailand and Asia.

🥁 Palm Preedipat – Drums
Palm Preedipat Kampan studied at Silpakorn University and built his reputation through competition success and work with musicians across Thailand’s jazz scene. His background ranges from festival appearances to award-winning ensemble work.
