Have you tried to start meditating but found it hard to stick with? Do all the different methods and advice leave you feeling overwhelmed before you even begin? You're not alone-and this workshop is here to help. Designed specifically for those who want to start meditating but aren't sure how, or for those who have started many times but haven't been able to sustain the practice, this 3-hour session will guide you step by step into creating a practice that works for you.
In this workshop, you'll learn key principles like Awareness, Focus, Non-Attachment, Patience, Consistency, Posture, Intention, and Breath Awareness. These tools will simplify meditation and give you a clear path forward.
We'll also explore why people meditate-whether for relaxation, mental health, physical well-being, or spiritual growth-and help you connect with your personal motivation. You'll get an introduction to different types of meditation, including guided practices, breath-focused techniques, and silent sitting, so you can find what resonates with you.
We'll practice, giving you the space to try these methods in a supportive environment. By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with practical tools, a clearer understanding of meditation, and the confidence to begin your own practice.
This is a practical workshop that is perfect for beginners-no experience needed. Bring your curiosity and an open mind, and let's shift meditation from a task on your to-do list to something you genuinely look forward to.

* Ticket transfers are not allowed.
* Late arrivals may be denied access without refund.
* If canceled by The Yoga Barn, ticket refunds will be issued within 30 days.
