Shadowdark is a simple system which s very suited for beginners. A good way to start into TTRPG.
Its basically DnD but then simplified, going back to the roots.

No commitment required , its a drop in , drop out campain and short stories.

The Shadowdark represents anywhere filled with darkness, danger, and legend. Maybe a haunted ruined castle or an alligator filled sewer. If the PCs are risking life and limb with swords, spells, and torches then they’re facing the Shadowdark.

In these nighted halls, doom and glory bloom
eternal. This is the story of the Shadowdark.
