What to Expect

Months of research-led audiovisual work reach its finale as artists-in-residence @elekhlekha – Nitcha Tothong and Kengchakaj – stage the closing performance of Surrounded at @bangkok_kunsthalle on Saturday June 27 at 8pm.

Generative visuals move across the floor beneath your feet, a sixteen-channel speaker array spreads through the room and a Yamaha DC3X Disklavier piano sits at the centre. Much like a Southeast Asian gong ensemble, melody, rhythm and agency scatter among players, instruments, speakers and the audience.

Arrive from 7pm for the reception and a proper send-off.
