What to Expect

Coming up in May, a new workshop for kids! MeetMe. Play: Cookie Making Workshop is a hands-on baking session where kids roll up their sleeves, get creative and leave with cookies they made themselves. From mixing the dough to decorating the finished biscuits, every step is done by the kids, and every bite is theirs to take home!

Drop-off is welcome — parents are invited to enjoy a coffee at Yellow Lane downstairs while the kids get baking.

What they'll make:
-Cookie dough from scratch, shaped and baked cookies, decorated and ready to take home.

Open to ages 5 to 10. Pre-registration required, limited spots available.

At MeetMe. Play, we believe kids learn best when they're given the freedom to explore without pressure or outcome. Our workshops are hands-on by design — every child participates fully, gets messy, and walks away with something they made themselves.

About Your Facilitator:
MeetMe. Play workshops are facilitated by Melissa Close — a mum, educator, and the founder of MeetMe. Melissa has spent over 12 years working in education across international schools in multiple countries, and holds a Master of Education and a Master of Philosophy, with research focused on student mental health and wellbeing. Her workshops are shaped by a simple belief: that creative, hands-on experiences are one of the most powerful tools we have for helping kids build confidence and connection.
