Meetme.Play: The Feelings Lab Workshop
What to Expect
People of Ari is excited to feature a new event by MeetMe!
MeetMe. Play: The Feelings Lab Workshop is a hands-on creative session for kids aged 5–8 years, designed to help children explore their emotions, build their feelings vocabulary, and walk away with two things they made themselves.
Over two hours, children will create a personalised sensory bottle and an emotions wheel –both creative, fun, and genuinely useful beyond the workshop.
Parents are welcome to stay for the session or drop off and enjoy a coffee at Yellow Lane downstairs!
Workshop activities include:
Sensory bottle: Children design and build their own calming bottle filled with glitter, colours and objects they choose themselves. When feelings get big, shaking the bottle and watching everything settle is a simple, effective way to regulate and refocus. Every bottle is as unique as the child who made it.
Emotions wheel: A personalised visual tool that helps children identify, name, and understand their feelings. Kids choose their colours, draw their expressions and create something they can refer back to whenever they need it.
Both activities are theirs to take home!
