What to Expect

An upcycled ceramic coaster workshop to the city. In this workshop, you’ll create your own coaster using clay, broken ceramic fragments, and plaster. You’ll shape the base, arrange the pieces in your own pattern, and finish it into something both functional and personal.

The idea behind the workshop is simple and thoughtful. The artist works with ceramics and noticed that pieces often crack during transport. Instead of letting them go to waste, they created Born of Cracks - a way to give these fragments a new form and story. A slow, hands-on session about making something new from what’s been broken. All materials are provided. This workshop is kids friendly, suitable for ages 7 and up.
