What to Expect

We are honoured to be asked to help close down the icon studio lam, playing their last ever Friday night slot with a selection of the extended RomRom residents and crew, spinning all your favourite oddballs and spacejams until the early hours.

The final piece of artwork for this series is of course brought by our friend and artist behind Sanook, the legendary @hevamorganarice

Since moving to East Asia 15 years ago, some of our earliest and fondest memories are from nights hosted by Maft Sai, at Studio Lam and beyond, and it's been an absolute privilege to be a part of what he built over the years. He has allowed his space to become a shelter for all those musical freaks like ourselves looking for something different, fuelled by endless tamarind ยาดอง and a crowd united by a shared love of Bollywood disco, Molam & Spiritual Jazz from Mogadishu and beyond...

So come join us for one last emotional dance in our favourite space from 8 - late this Friday.
